So, I decided with the New Year I would take the plunge and start blogging. I have been spending time tweaking it a bit here and there but now I'm pretty happy with it. Now I just need to figure out what I want to blog about next. I'm thinking that it's probably a good idea to make a list of ideas and expand on them. I may do what many others do and feature other artists which I always like. Needless to say, here's hoping it isn't a complete failure!

So I am now also selling over on 1000 Markets. If you haven't seen this site you need to check it out. It is still in it's early stages although every day they are adding new sellers. I feel very priveledged to be there since it is a juried site and I feel like it has a much closer community feel. The idea behind it is similar to markets you have in many cities around the world. I love making chainmaille jewelry and I have really been working mostly in Silver (either Sterling or Argentium) and Copper. Well despite the fact that prices have lowered slightly lately it is still too darn expensive to work in those metals all the time. Ahhh so, aluminum is the answer.
