I've not updated any of these ning sites I'm on in a looong time!

I've graduated college (received my BFA in ceramics) but now I no longer have a studio to work in or a kiln to fire in, and I live too far from the university to keep working there. So I'm trying to make money without giving in and getting a "normal" job. Besides, in this tiny country town the only job I could even attempt to get would be either a fast food job, or Walmart, and I didn't just graduate college after 5+ years to do… Continue

I managed to leave sculpey in the oven yesterday.....for a few hours.
Luckily It didn't hurt it. The white stuff got a little discolored but I was painting that anyway. Everything else looked fine, and the house didn't burn down, haha. Usually if I forget for a moment, the smell will remind me, but I didn't smell anything this time. Next time I'm setting an alarm! Continue
