You can see in my photos my latest submission to Natasha for the Thursday Sweet Treat blog challenge. What I love the most about this blog is how it just brings all sorts of things to my mind to paint. I was only working on (1) other painting while doing this (which is a small amount for me - I usually do 4-5 at a time so I can continue painting while one is drying). The inspiration was ROCKS. I tried a new style in my paintings the other day and you can see it in my new painting called Whimsy. I loved the way the design took shape each time I just added a couple items and then came back a couple days later and added more and more. Bright and simple! Whimsy is available in my shop on Etsy,

Natasha has posted the results from this weeks inspiration challenge. This week was rain. I have posted my submission photo here called Raindrops. I can't believe how just a few words and photos can really get the creative juices flowing!

Oh, why do we have to work on Monday's! I am so tired this morning and am trying to find anything to do but start working! I finished my Thursday Sweet Treat painting all this weekend, so look for that posting later this week. Until then, I am going to keep on Twittering and blogging here and adding photos to Flickr.
