I am an illustrator and I love to paint in a variety of subject matter, although my favorite would be animals and children. Often I like to try new creative things.
I work in watercolor, pen & ink, Dr. Martin Dyes and Prisma color pencil, on canvas, Arches watercolor paper, or watercolor board.

Favorite Designers/Artists:

I am inspired by the art of Georgia O'Keefe, children's illustrators: Beatrix Potter, Randolph Caldacott, Grame Base, Janet Stevens (awesome illustrator). I also had the pleasure of visiting an exhibit ,by portrait painter John Singer Sergent years ago and was totally blown away. My favorite cartoonist is Gary Larson, he's awesome and he makes me laugh!

Favorite Music/Musicians:

I like Irish rock, contemporary Christian and country music. My favorite
musicians/bands are: 7 Nations, Flogging Molly, The Chieftains, Great
Big Sea, Jars of Clay, Third Day, Rich Mullins, Brad Paisley, George Strait,
Sarah Evans, Joe Nichols, Martina McBride, Toby Kieth, Randy Travis, James Taylor and I love Van Morrison.

Favorite TV Show & Movies:

HGTV, The Travel Channel, The Closer, Monk, Ghost Hunters, Burn Notice, Saving Grace, hooked on Flight Of The Concords on HBO.

Favorite Books / Authors:

I like historical fiction when I get a chance to read and decorating magazines. Also anything on travel.
