“Life is my college. May I graduate well and earn some honors!” Louisa May Alcott

With spring lying in wait around the corner, many high school seniors eagerly await their graduation day; it won’t be long until those graduation announcements begin to arrive. This year I have three immediate family members, including my #2 son, and a handful of friend’s teens graduating. I shall soon be receiving a varied assortment of cards honoring graduates and their achievements.

Several years ago, when #1 son graduated from high school, I designed his announcement due to necessity; he wa… Continue

Amazing Grace - Unmerited Favor

A couple of weeks ago, the men in my family went on their annual week long hunting trip. The 7 days they are gone, are considered “my time” and one of the things I enjoy doing during my time is watching chick flicks.

During that blissful week, one of the movies I watched was, “Amazing Grace,” the inspiring story of William Willberforce and his quest to end the British slave trade.

Willberforce was a devout Christian and also one of the youngest members of Parliament. He passionately loved both… Continue

New is Exciting,...but Old is Comfortable - A Journey to opening a New SHop

“Ring in the New”; we hear it everywhere during this time of year and I understand the excitement that “newness” brings, but with the new comes the unknown and that can be uncomfortable.

Like a worn out pair of shoes, old is familiar even comfortable, no matter how bad they are for your feet. A new pair of shoes takes “breaking in.” In the beginning they just don’t fit or feel right, but given time they’ll be a familiar comfy shoe.

In last weeks post, I mentioned that I would opening several n… Continue

From the Desk of CreationsAnew

One of the things I enjoy about receiving Christmas Cards is the anticipated Christmas letter they somtimes contain. I like reading the short blurbs of events that happened throughout the year; there is usually just enough information to keep it interesting but not too intrusive. So, I thought I would wrap up this year with a quick and not too invasive Christmas/New Year Letter.

To read the "letter" please drop by Photographer's Expose' . I'm… Continue

What Kind of Christmas Tree are You?

This week's blogpost talks about my favorite Christmas Tradition,...the TREE. I love everything about the Christmas Tree.
I also have a "quiz" and "survey" on "What Kind of Christmas Tree are You" ?

Here is an excerpt:
..."Our tree doesn’t seem to have a theme, unless cautic hodge-podge can be a theme for a tree full of memories of 21 Christmas’ together. From pictures of our boys, (newborn through High School), sitting on Santa’s lap to last… Continue

I know many of us here on Indie Public sell on Etsy but do you also sell on DaWanda? DaWanda is another e-venue for selling all things handmade with love!

I am putting together a 5 part blog post over this weekend to talk about how to use DaWanda to expand your business, why it can benefit you, who is buying on DaWanda & what you need to know to be successful there!

If you want, check it out on my blog! www.always-amy.blogspot.com I hope it helps you make your decision about DaWanda!
