about you? For the most part, I try and make gifts each year. Not just
for family, but for my kids' friends too. Since they are girls, it's
easy! I've bartered with one friend already.... I LOVE to barter!!!!
She is sending me a hand painted plaque of a horse for my niece and I'm beading her a pair of christmas earrings....
How cool is that? So what cool things are you doing for the holidays?

I've gone and done it! I decided to start an Art Doll Street Team on Etsy... I've already set up a Flickr group and sent a bunch of emails... So, I'm going to cut and paste the spiel here:

For those that make Art Dolls (and dragons and other creatures) and sell on Etsy, I'm starting a Street Team for all of us. I plan on doing monthly challenges, setting up a blog and Theme based contests. I really want to promote the Art Doll!

While most people were off BBQing and having fun, the girls and I watched as holes were punched into our dirt pit and 20 foot posts were put in and partially framed. Yep, Hubby is getting his Pole Barn and today they officially broke ground...

Yesterday I had my first Etsy Showcase Ad. No sales, but more hearts for my shop. I think that's a good thing...
I will be purchasing more slots when September 14th comes around. I am committed to make Etsy my main selling channel. At some point, I will do something on my website, but for the moment, I'm ALL Esty ALL the time... <G>
