About Me:

I am a retired (HA!!!) teacher and am thrilled to now have more time to pursue my art and craft passions.I was an art major in college but did not continue upon graduation though my hands were always busy with knitting, needlepoint and other needlecrafts. While looking through my Mom's button box I decided buttons had to have other uses besides fasteners on clothing and All About The Buttons was born.

My creations always have at least one button as a decoration or a fastener. They include knitted purses, clocks, napkin rings, magnets, push pins, picture frames, cards, bookmarks, shadow boxes and more.

In April, Lark Publications came out with a book focusing on button crafts and 2 of my projects are featured. The book is called Button! Button! It was/is exciting to be in a book.
