We ( Thriftymamas T and Bek) started our blog, Thriftonista, because we want to share our love of thrifting, shopping and saving money with the world. Right now, we host http://thrifonista.blogspot.com, where we sell gently used vintage and retro clothing (ALL prices negotiable); in the near future, we will launch thriftonista.com, where we will continue to sell our vintage and thrifted wares, and will also swap our goods for the clothes, art or crafts of others while allowing those artists/crafters/clotheshorses to use our site as a forum for selling and swapping their wares.

Favorite Designers/Artists:

We love anything that someone took time to create with their own two hands. We are huge fans of Anomaly Designs in Denver, CO; artist Audrey Kawasaki; and designer/crafter/wunderkind Tricia of bits and bobbins and wardrobe remix. We also love the artist who owns the shop Inside the Black Apple, on etsy. Last names and full names escape us-- but we love 'em! Because we specialize in vintage and thrifted goods, we love many, many unknown artists who took the time to lovingly craft, sew, and embroider exquisite vintage goods. We love and greatly respect people taking the time to do it themselves.

We here at Thriftonista are celebrating our membership in the Indie Public community by offering our very own Indie Deal.
