About Me:
Wink Artisans is a team by Christina and Sol and together they design eclectic, award-winning, handmade jewelry and other crafts in their bohemian North Park studio in San Diego.

While they work with varied materials such as precious metals, glass, beads, wood, fabric, found objects, leather, etc.,their work is quite different. Christina works with beads and designs jewelry and home decor items in glass and is known for her pearl and Swarovski crystal designs. Sol, a photographer in a former life, is more into metals and image transfers. She is known for her Latino-themed items such as Day of the Dead, Lady Guadalupe, Corazones, and Fridalicious.

In 2008 Christina's piece Turquoise Delight won the second place on Bead Jewelry; Gems, Mineral & Jewelry Exhibit, 2008 San Diego County Fair and most recently, Sol's jewelry designs cleaned house by bringing home three awards: Day of the Dead Necklace got first place in the Fabrication All Metals Amateur category, Roses earrings got second place in the Student Jewelry Class category and Reina Azteca Earrings got third place in the Exhibitor's Best of Show Amateur category at the 2009 San Diego County Fair; Gems, Minerals & Jewelry Exhibit.
