- My wife and I have been university teachers in China since 2003. I have always had an appreciation for art, beauty, culture, fashion, design, antiques and nature. I opened my store, "Paradigm's Shift", on Etsy in October 2009. I major in jewelry that has a distinctly urban and unique flare to it. I collect most of my gems, stones and vintage pieces from local markets, here in Asia, and on holidays to various other countries. I love the eclectic look of putting the new with the old, the traditional with the unexpected and the simplistic with the ornate. My wife and I have also taken in four foster babies, while living here in China, and have a burden for possibly doing more with that in the future. It is my dream of dreams that "Paradigm's Shift" would one day be successful enough to make a large contribution to the world's orphan population.
