The Rekoj line drawings, which began as a way to keep from falling asleep in lecture hall, have morphed into a simple yet stylistic form of textile decoration. I hand paint anything and everything at whim onto just about anything and everything.
I’ve continually searched out unconventional means of expression often relying solely on whatever supplies are at hand. Trying to incorporate recycled or reclaimed materials into each of my pieces, however small, satisfies a desire to try and make the world a better place.
I live in a downtown Seattle Co-op where my time is split between my studio, wandering the Pike Place Market and a job that actually pays me.
