- About Me:
- I've been freelance crafting hand made original wearable art (Jewelry) for about 16 years!
I work in a number of different mediums. I torch hand made glass beads and fuse art glass to use in some of my designs! I've taken an art form from the 1500's that was originally used for home decor and altered the composition to create durable French, Russian, and Venetian beaded florals for use in wearable art! Creating with Polymer Clay, Precious Metal Clay, and Soldered Silver Filigree are some of my other directions of intellectual and artistic experimentation! I've never met a medium I didn't like and I'll use whatever medium that best expresses my inspired vision.
I have a couple of online boutiques where my work may be found for purchase.

I also produce and host an online radio talk show every Sunday afternoon called
The Jewelry Connection.
It's a show about independent jewelry artists. Often we have live interviews with artists and share conversation about their work. Guests in the audience have an opportunity to actually ask these artists questions about their work and about jewelry making in general.
Show Time: 12pm PST, 2pm CST, 3pm EST in the USA - 9pm in Europe and 8pm in the UK
Every Sunday Afternoon with the exception of Holidays and Holiday weekends! You don't need a membership at this site to watch the show, but you will need one if you want to interact with webcam and headset with mic. You can also call into the show if you like, using Skype! My Skype ID is Mona77401
There's always something to see and hear in the broadcast room, even when I'm not live with the show, so please pop in to enjoy some very inspiring work by a number of terrific independent jewelry designers! Aside from interviews with artists, we have offered historical discussions about jewelry, tutorials on techniques, and I've even fired up a torch and soldered some Silver during a live show. You never know what you'll find going on there on Sunday afternoons! It's all a warm, inviting, friendly, and artistic experience!
My Co-host is Dr. Gail Devoid of New Hampshire. Gail is the most recent past president of The Bead Society of New Hampshire. She has a background in radio and is a welcome addition to the show! She's also a beading superstar in the world of finely beaded jewelry design work!

I promote independent artisan jewelry designers by producing and hosting an on-line radio talkshow, where I do live interviews with reviews of work, followed by an open question and answer session at each Live Broadcast.
