a tree hugger, a Catholic, a business owner, a mom, a dumpster-diving junkie, crafty, out there, fun, stressed, floralcompliments.net, a wife, looking to get new customers who appreciate beautiful things for not a lot of money. Unique stuff. Not just flowers but mosaics, too...
flowers using ribbonwork. (ribbon-gorgeous bias-cut, hand-dyed silks, satins, velvet, etc.)
mosaics, mostly with shard art

Munson-Williams Proctor Institute Museum of Art artist of the month, Feb 06. Lots of blogs lately. I did a bridal show at the Turning Stone Casino, in Verona, NY in October of 06 but my name then was All That & More.
Just wanted to give you a heads up on the Yart sales on etsy. A great way to save some money on handmade goodies!

I got your message Friday evening, but have been busy at an arts and crafts show on Saturday and couldn't respond right away like I wanted to. I have been praying for you. God has been placing people on my heart recently especially during the hard financial times that we are going into. He uses each of us to lift each other up and I'm grateful that He has placed me here where I can be encouraged and give encouragement also.
This new job that you are starting will be a great place to minister and give encouragement to the elderly. I'll keep up the prayers.
Yes, I'll be praying for the nursing home job + the mortgage. God has opened up wonderful opportunities for me through the internet. I recently received from some virtual friends, a huge supply of jewelry making supplies that I've been using to make jewelry to raise money for an orphanage in Tanzania. You can read an article about it here: thisartistsjourney.blogspot.com. But most importantly, God has shown me the caring nature of his people. That has been the biggest blessing.
Thanks for adding me as a friend. I noticed Bev's comment below me on your indie page. She is a wonderful woman who I've enjoyed having as a virtual friend.
I've been looking for friends to challenge me in my faith as well as my art. I'm finding many through the web. Don't you love finding friends who love the things that you do? Love your ribbon flowers by the way. They remind me of my grandmother who made flower roses from decorative paper.
I'd be glad to have you as a friend. Ilion, NY right on the Thruway. I was brought up in Rochester, NY, lived in Hemlock, NY before moving here (MA) . Up and down the Thruway Many, Many times. Ilion is a unique spot on another wise (sometimes) boring Thruway trip. My daughter learned each exit by heart. We visited relatives in NH a lot. Now we hardly ever get to NY State. Good memories however.
Lexie is now 10 and her brain cancer in in remission and she is doing well. Still is effected by her friends who are not. Thus the importance of helping in cancer research. I have show tomorrow and will look at your web site after that. Looking forward to getting to know you better. Bev
