The company’s mission is to make a line of well-made, environmentally sustainable fashions that exude whimsy and warmth. The Atlanta-based company was founded in 2006 by former marketing executive and marathon runner Mary Sweeney. Felted Heart’s clothing, home accessories, and items for pets are available for order at http://www.feltedheart.com and at Beehive Co-op (http://www.beehiveco-op.com), among other independent boutiques. Mary lives in Atlanta with her husband and two children. She crafts her designs for Felted Heart in a studio in the city’s historic Old Fourth Ward neighborhood.
