- Hello, I am originally from Genoa, Italy, and I have been living in the UK for the last nine years. I developed a strong interest in the arts from an early age, my Mum Giulia passed onto me the passion for photography. I studied modern languages and did my Foundation degree in photography in Florence. I moved to the UK and studied Design Studies at the University of Salford, in my gap year I worked at an art gallery in London and then I completed my studies at The London College of Fashion, (MA-Fashion Studies). I worked at Laura Ashley (at the company textile archives), and at the Michael Wilson Centre for Photography in London. In 2004 I decided to set up my own creative business, MeanMagenta.com. The last three years have been very exciting, a great learning experience, a lot of hard work that is finally starting to pay off!

I thought you might be interested in getting involved and recommend you check it out. Please help us save handmade toys, clothing & accessories for our children. & save the businesses of all the crafty people who create toys!
