About Me:

I live in a small town in Kansas where the skies go forever and wheat fields are more plentiful than homes. I was taught to knit and crochet by my mother when I was in grade school and have enjoyed making treasured gifts for family and friends ever since

As our children came along we got pet Angora bunnies who are loved and well cared for. Their wool (the warmest wool available) is brushed and I mix it with dyed Moreno sheep wool (wool that is almost as soft as my bunny’s wool). I spin the wool on a replica of an old Irish hearth wheel.

My crochet items are made from 100% cotton thread. I am facinated with vintage or unusual crochet patterns, especially if they have a 3-D effect.

I am currently designing 3-dimensional bookmarks using size 10 crochet thread. I also have some ideas for crochet cowls and fingerless gloves using handspun Alpaca wool.

I also love to do lace knitting and have designed some heart pattern wraps using Angora homespun yarn
