- Leetie Lovendale features fresh styles made with vintage lucite & other vintage goods. Hand-strng beads, hand-set earrings & hand-made belts are our specialties, but we make other lovelies from time to time.
Our sister company, The Beadin' Path purchased 40,000 lbs of vintage lucite beads & components from a Rhode Island warehouse in the Summer of 2004. There were loads of beads, but also other lucite components that needed to be set by hand with posts, or otherwise manipulated to be made into finished products. Ribbons, trim and other materials used in this work are almost always vintage &/or recycled materials.
Even though my 'real job' is running The Beadin' Path, this is my inspiration, my fun, the reason I got into beads & jewelry... I get to play here! I am so grateful for the opportunity to create jewelry again. I hope you enjoy my fresh vintage lucite creations.
What's in a name? My name isn't Leetie, it's Heather DeSimone. Leetie was my Mom's nickname growing up and Lovendale is a family name. But I'll answer to "Leetie" as well (pronounced Lee-Tee).
