Every time I open my e-mail, I find my box filled with Indiepublic notices. People are commenting in forums, starting discussions and adding friends. But, what happens after that? I hardly ever get comments on my page, in discussions I started or friend requests. What is indiepublic used for? I wonder. I think I will go into Etsy forum and ask Etsians what they think. If I get some good information, I will come back and copy the thread to share.

I made the plunge and changed my username in Etsy to better reflect the type of bags that I make ~ knitting bags ~ or should I say, needlework project bags. I had to leave 82 sales and 67 postive feedbacks but I left a link to my old shop to put people at ease. In any event, I've made 3 sales already in the new shop so I think I'm on my way. Wish me luck and stay tuned! It will be a wild ride!!

I've decided to close my Etsy shop as Bag Lady Bags and open another shop under the name of KnittingsMyBag. I think people are confused about the bags I offer and this will clarify it for them. I'll leave my shop up so that people can check my sales and feedback. It's a little scarey but exciting at the same time. Stay tuned for exciting new knitting bags in new fabrics and styles. It's going to be a good year.

Come One, Come All to our Holiday EtsyFest from 12:01 AM November 27 through 11:59 PM on December 1. A large group of us are hosting a holiday sale. Each seller is having their own unique sale. Go to my blog at http://bagladybags1.blogspot.com for the details of my sale and for a partial listing of the partipants. On Thanksgiving weekend, look for the Holiday EtsyFest Avatar!

Trying to stay busy sewing up a storm but I find it hard to keep off the computer and surfing all the different sites. I think I might have a little burn out. I think I just need to mix it up a little. Making the same style bags all the time is getting a little old. I'm going to try some new things so stay turned.

I too seem to spend a lot of time on the computer and wonder if I'm in a little burn out too. Your totes are really pretty. I'm going to check out your blog.
