Favorite Designers/Artists:

I'm not a designer type girl, so it's hard to make a list. I just love anything that combines an element that your mother would love, with something edgy and urban that makes you feel sexy and strong. I do love the look of Marc Jacobs, but you can find the same aesthetic in the perfect combo of a vintage sweater and a stealth H&M dress. When it comes to art, I'm also into the street-wise look...I love graffiti art. (RIP Iz the Wiz) And I also love the big bold looks of artists like Chuck Close.

Favorite Music/Musicians:

Too many to list. I love old ska like the Skatelites and the Specials, as well as old punk. I'm also into indie rock like Wilco, Stars, and Magnetic Fields. Give me some Kanye West, or other intelligent rap, and I'm a happy girl. I'll even boogie down to some pop stuff like Katy Perry or the Black Eyed Peas.

Favorite TV Show & Movies:

I'm a reality junkie, sadly enough, but I'll drop everything for the good ones like Project Runway. I also like anything that HBO and Showtime put out. And we can't forget Gossip Girl.

Favorite Books / Authors:

American fiction rocks...John Cheever, Ernest Hemingway, Chuck Palahniuk, or however you spell it. Right now, I'm on a nonfiction kick and reading Barbara Kingsolver's "Animal, Vegetable, Miracle"...it's change my life at every page-turn.
