I've been creating handmade jewelry using my unique process of drawing and painting on clear shrink plastic for just over five years now. I absolutely love making this jewelry - from creating new designs to exploring new color combinations to putting it in pretty little boxes to mail out!
I began making my jewelry as a much-needed creative outlet. When I realized it added some much needed color to my mostly-black wardrobe, I was hooked. Then people who saw it wanted to buy it, and things kind of snowballed from there. I've met so many amazing and wonderful people over the years from all over the world, thanks to this little business. I'm proud to say that folks in places as far flung as Paris, Edinburgh, Okinawa and Copenhagen are sporting my pieces. That's very cool!
You still want to hear more? Well, there's nothing too exciting, but okay...here's some other tidbits:
* I'm a mom to two fantastic kiddos and one fantastic dog.
* I'm married to the funniest, smartest guy around.
* My day job: writing for a healthcare consulting company. (Yes, I've got that whole right brain left brain thing going.)
* I love taking advantage of all that my lovely hometown of Portland, Oregon has to offer - films, concerts, galleries, foods, etc. etc. etc....
