About Me:

Hi there and thanks so much for stopping by! Art (pretty much any medium) has always had an impact on my life whether creating it, admiring others' art creations, or just seeing it in nature all around. Glass art has always held a special fascination to me so I believe it was no accident when I stumbled across the glass art form called "Lampworking" and began experimenting with it in early 2001, I was lost in it's abyss ~ hook, line, and sinker! I found I was able to combine my fascination for the creative arts, sculpture, and glass with my deep love for animals and whimsical creatures that make one feel good inside. From that point on, my life took a major turn... the Dreams In The Sand Island and "The ZOO" were born. ;-)
