What a lovely photo for your avatar!:) You can click on the top of this page where it has a tab for MEMBERS and then it will show you the members and to the right side of the member page you can click on an option to make them your friend. This is the best way to welcome others by clicking on their avatar and visiting their page and their mentioned shop link if they have one. You can leave a message for them on their page as I am doing on yours or just click to request their friendship and that person will normally respond by accepting your friendship request and will normally visit your page and start communicating with you. That is usually how it works on the social sites.
Your next question..if you go to your etsy shop page and click on the top tab of your page that says "your etsy" you will see at the bottom left hand corner of the page an option to click on the word "etsy mini". It is under the PROMOTE section and the last option to click. Once you click it you get on the page to customize the look of the little promotional photo box of your creations. The first step is to click on items from your shop or from your favorite list in your shop. The next step is to click on the image size you want for your etsy mini. You can choose one and then choose the other to determine which look you like best then go with the size that you like. Next you can choose your layout which is clearly indicated and again you can look at all the options because it will show you what it will look like at the time of your choosing so you know which one you want to go with. Actually you need to fill out all steps above before the preview will appear. But you can experiment until you like one. The next instructions are easy to follow you simply copy the code that it gives you in both boxes so that you can paste it into the appropriate places(personal websites and blogs or myspace and social networking sites to show your etsy mini. What I do is I paste these two code options with their designated use description onto a word document so I have it handy to use in the future. If I want to use my etsy mini I simply go to the saved word document and copy and paste the code into the appropriate venue page. I hope this helps. I will get another one, but I need to coax some files out of it. When I boot I get to a screen (DOS) that gives me options to start 5 different ways. Normally (won't work), From last good configuration (won't work) and the other 3 refer to a "safe" mode I think. All I want is my saved files. Does anyone know how I can get them out myself?
