Chaanda Bishop's Page

I am a 35-yr old, self-taught artist who began her career as an artist only in the summer of 2007. It happened when I needed artwork for my new home but had little money to buy it. I tried my hand at abstract art and never put the paintbrush back down! I have been creative all my life, however, I have had no formal training and most of my life was not focused on art or painting. My career before this was modeling for 17 yrs and I also attained my Masters of Social Work degree in the summer of 2004. I am absolutely in love with abstract painting and have had some small early successes. My goal now is to focus on my painting full time, network as much as possible and build my business as an artist.
