I am an artist and pet rescuer and spay/neuter advocate. I live in Lexington KY with my wonderful husband and 6 loveable cats....it's my purrfect family! My husband is a marketing professor at UK, and i spend my time trying to create joy and whimsy through my artwork and rescuing/spaying/neutering cats in need in my area.

I am the SnipPet Girl, Carrie Murtha. My love for art and animals is illustrated through my mixed media creations. My artwork is made with snips of all sorts of items...paint, paper, clay, ribbon, wood and much more! I have a line of fun, cutesy paintings as well as a whimsical line of art dolls/sculptures that have a fairytale-ish and circusy quality to them. I adore vibrant colors, mixed patterns and varying textures.
