I was recently contacted by a fellow blogger and craft lover. She has offered to do a review of one of my items and host a giveaway on her site...as well as advertise for me and help get traffic over to look at my stuff.

Don't have all of the little details ironed out yet, but I am very excited that someone has offered to help me....I need all the help I can get!

Has anyone else done this? Does it work? I'm open to all feedback and suggestions.

Wow. It has been a long time since I have had a sale over at my Etsy shop. I had decided that I sucked, and was about to just give up, and not worry about online stuff....and then I come home today after being out of town at a funeral, and find that one of my favorite items has sold.

I still have not watched my interview on CBC's "Living Saskatchewan". I was not happy with the way things played out, or the way I answered questions....I was totally not impressed with the fact that they didn't plug my Etsy shop at all either. Argh!

I want to watch it, but if it is totally embarrassing....well I don't know how I'd take it.

I'm so excited to have opened up shop over at madeitmyself.com! I still have to add my items for sale, and figure out what will be sold on Etsy, and what will be sold at the new store...but that is a project for Wednesday, when I have a day off to take photos and rummage through my things.

Once I'm up and running and both shops have been organized a bit, I'll let y'all know!

Does anyone know of any sites other than Etsy that I could sell my wares on? I check 1000markets.com, but they don't allow Canadian sellers yet. I'm just trying to branch myself out a bit. Thanks!
