Comment by dragonfly on March 20, 2009 at 5:58pm: I don't live by the ocean but I do live close the the salt and sea, and make all natural sea salt goats milk soap. I love the ocean and the beach. The hardest thing I ever did was move so far away from The SEA.

LOVE the water, fav is the ocean. Five years ago, I moved back to OH from Florida. I do feel landlocked, but just look around my house where there are a gazillion lighthouse paintings and a gazilion more shells. You can take the gal out of Florida, but you can't take Florida out of the gal.

Hi, I'm new here, and glad to find this group! I spend time at Pensacola Beach, Florida, every year, and it always influences my jewelry. I'm also inspired by the story "Hitty: Her First Hundred Years" which is about a wooden doll who is lost at sea for some time, and ends up on an island and is worshipped as a goddess. I'm looking forward to being a member here!
