I've just started trying polymer clay. Here's a slice from my first cane, made into a commemorative pendant. It's a bit chipped from learning how to polish, but what the heck? It's a learning piece, after all. I'll be making earrings and another necklace from the same cane, but they're really just for fun since it didn't come out quite the way I wanted. Still, for a first attempt I'm not disappointed. As soon as things settle down (holidays can be so frantic!) I'll definitely be doing more in this medium. Fun, fun, fun!
