Hey Everybody! I just joined Indiepublic this week and wanted to introduce myself. I'm in Mount Vernon, home of the Dan Emmett art & crafts festival which is coming up next month. I don't have the inventory yet to set up this year, but I'll be scoping it out for next year, that's for sure! Anyone else in Knox county?

the Riverbend Arts Council is a non-profit group that supports and nurtures the arts in the greater Dayton area. Formerly, we were affliated with Riverbend Art Center which was operated by the City of Dayton. Due to "budget" problems, the city elected to close this awesome center. The Council has banded with former instructors and we are currently trying to network and find another building where we can hold classes and regain the creative atmosphere of Riverbend.

Hi everyone. I'm a New Yorker by birth but have lived here in Dayton for over 20 years. We have a great artist community here. I work with wire wrapped jewelry, silver clay, kumihimi and am currently playing with low fire bisque clay. In my "spare time" I knit a lot and read all the time.
